People are tired. They've been fighting for a long time without much visible progress. And the entire media is now designed to crush their will and make them give up. It takes a strong person to keep fighting in these circumstances.

I've been saying for a minute that all this is really just a Christian sectarian war and we'd go a long ways admitting we want to save people's souls and build heaven on earth.

I agree. The time for subterfuge is past. This is a holy war between good and evil and we should say that. People cry out for passion, for meaning and we have that, we just have to be brave enough to share it. Let us sing the Battle Hymn of the Republic loud and proud and mean every word.
