I like that here, anyone can enjoy the poems and it's free. I've never have submitted a poem for anything. Doubt I will start.

I had a few that got pulled by people I know and published with zero effort from me. I would only send out things that were really good, and I'd send them to like Poetry and The New Yorker and those places don't really publish you unless you are established.

I guess I felt like I didn't want my stuff out in the world unless it was great, but if so I wanted it to have the respect it deserved. I think my publications had an audience of like 50 people.

I've been plagiarized, had storylines stolen and put on Patreon without my consent. The writing community on X is terrible. If you have a good partner, coupling; they will try to break it up. Ppl will accuse you of trying to steal a partner. It's awful. I'm surprised that I write anymore honestly .

I never did X. I just consider anything I post here raw materials I might work with later. Maybe combine or take a few lines from it here and there and rework it into something else.
