Also the British Armed forces and the French had thousands of colonial subjects in them too, British Indian Army was the largest volunteer army of WW2.

Yeah absolutely. In both world wars they conscripted heavily from their respective colonies. Huge numbers of Indians for the Brits(which included Pakistan/Bangladesh back then), which also makes Churchills decisions even more callous and sociopathic than they already were.
