You have young children especially male (studies on this around waking them and reactions), I like something that will alert me via wifi while I’m gone. That’s my criteria. We had a house fire in a brand new home (electrical).

There are more than one brand that does this and I think people need to have a list of requirements vs brands. A lot of people won’t support google myself included. I personally have an ecobee system in my house that reports alarms to me.

Understood. I purchased my Nest before google bought them out. So I had the whole setup to get the Nest alarm.
