Morning coffee in the garden while I move the hose around. Although I focus on native plants in my non raised garden beds it’s been a really hard year for keeping everything alive. So many young trees and shrubs have been suffering in the drought.

It's like the Kingston/Brighton area is being avoided by Mother Nature this year. SW Ont gets rain, it disappears by the time it gets here. Today there's rain north of us, nothing here. Eastern Ontario gets rain coming from the south that misses us. We need more than a few 15 min bursts of rain! 🌧️
