Thank you for posting this. I "only" have the HC version from when it was first published. The new preface is an important addition. We are all witnessing history in the making. So context and recall what has happened in such a short time already are important.

I own the hardcopy so I geekily printed the preface and am keeping it inside the cover of the original.

I read it last year, right after its release: a great book, written in clear language that makes everyone understand the real danger autocracies pose to democracies. I can only recommend it to all!
