I got my Steam Deck up and running again Wednesday morning. Today it fell back into disfunction. The same exact issue: the black screen of death. Goddamn it.

Alright so it works. I'm just now allowed to ever turn it off, and if I do, I need to plug it in to get it back on. I also have to be careful when sleeping the console. I put it to sleep earlier while playing Stellar Blade and it took several minutes for it to respond. Fuck it. I'll take it.
