Honestly a bit overwhelmed emotionally right now and could use some positivity. Tell me about something you enjoyed lately. Games, movies, music, art, anything that's brought you joy.

i was actually going to mention Nine Sols as my Thing I Enjoyed Lately it's criminal how little coverage it's gotten relative to similar games. everything about Nine Sols is phenomenal the Lady Ethereal section especially is going to stick with me for a while
umm ive been rewatching adventure time, thats been bringing me a lot of joy lately :)
Sending as many good vibes as I can! I've been consumed by Blue Prince in the best way. Physical notes scattered everywhere, hundreds of screenshots, and I've been up into the early hours of the morning twice by accident now because time doesn't matter. That hasn't happened to me in quite awhile.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_IG... Can't go wrong with a charming indie Catroidvania.
This made me laugh 🤣 because we are all feeling overwhelmed Hope you smiled 😄
First off Obviously Splatoon from my avatar. We squid kids don't descriminate. Next I'm am enjoying Street Fighter, and then I am enjoying Pathfinder. Explore, Report, Cooperate.
I've been really enjoying the new raid series in ffxiv and it's been a joy to rush from my daily overtime to get back home in time for my scheduled raid time. Now my life truly is Work Raid Sleep
This. Right here. Enjoy! youtu.be/s-kyHnRUffM?...
🤯
Yep.
Ha. Circling back to say, oh yeah, MIS only gets better youtu.be/CiGlrGF49Ok?...
Wow, managed to make it Mexican grunge. I love it.
this brought up a song i hadn't thought about in a loooong time music.youtube.com/watch?v=sU69...

Was my birthday yesterday and my partner took my mom and I to a tea house attached to our local art museum for lunch and then went to see an exhibit on Frida Kahlo. I am forever grateful that they are here for me and accept me because I've been struggling a lot too.
Per your recommendation I have started playing Iconoclast, and the stream of puzzle bosses are kicking my iconoclass.
Woof
ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist gave me the best type of joy only good Metroidvanias could give. I enjoyed being lost while exploring, fighting tough bosses, and trying to reach tricky secrets using the wrong skills.
I loved Ender Lilies so I really must get to that one at some point
DON’T NOD’s newest game Lost Records: Bloom and Rage just had its part released and I loved it. Fantastic game and possibly their best work. 10/10 OST that hopefully gets recognition. youtu.be/h-pRdOFj5cY?...
A game I really like, HARDCODED, had a really lovely update and it made me do a big ol' smile :) oh and also, it's my old man Toki's birthday soon!! He'll be 17!
I'm soon going to get to play as my favorite ttrpg character again after almost ten years. I'm very excited because I've missed playing this character SO much. My kids are playing in the game, too. They've heard my stories, and they're excited to see him in action. 😁
I only just got into Ghost of Tsushima and it's SO BLOODY GOOD! Full romanticism and so gorgeously designed! My wife and husband are both watching, and she loves it's cinematic feel while he dozes off from the soothingly beautiful world design. An absolute ace for open worlds.
My partner and I finished Metaphor yesterday and it was an absolute delight 😊
Also, have a beautiful song: youtu.be/J0rmycJSPAE?...
I took up running lately. I'm slow and have no endurance but man, does it ever help my thinking. I've also been doing things with my hands, pottery and gardening etc that connects me to something human. It helps dawg.
Good for you! It's crazy how much quieter the world feels when you don't have noise or a screen at the forefront of your mind slash in your face. 👏
Playing D&D with my friends. Makes me see people, lets me let loose and be larger than life. I love being a heroic angel-dragon and an obnoxious robot tomb raider, and bouncing off my party mates.
Been spreading around Jambinai lately, so might as well here as well. youtu.be/Z71tKxrztC4?...
Lately, been thinking of the game Promise Mascot Agency. Kazuma Kiryu's va Excellent soundtrack Fantastic gameplay (albeit a little bugged on linux/steam deck atm but they're working on fixes) It's probably gonna be up there in my game of the year of 2025.
I’ve been feeling overwhelmed, too! Looking forward to massive protests this Saturday. Recently, I’ve gotten into doing jigsaw puzzles. I find them very meditative; I actually don’t think about anything else when I’m doing one. 💜
I watched the first ep of Lazarus and it made me fall in love with animation all over again
Recently found out goodwill has its own version of ebay, and I’ve been fulfilling my lifelong dream of hoarding one of every kind of musical instrument. 🥹
I've started re-reading The Murderbot Diaries ahead of the TV show coming out in May.
I just reposted a lovely video of an older street dog getting her Forever Home 💙🫂💙 Hang in there, I think we can beat this, 4/19/25 will be the turning point.
So I recently started watching Ya Boy Kongming with a friend and it just leaves me grinning after every episode <3 www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyqD... It's about a strategist from the Three Kingdoms wars coming back to life in the modern day and becoming part of the Tokyo music and clubbing scene <3
I'm going off to work on a farm soon. I'm so excited about a whole bunch of the things I'll be doing. Moving a bjillion tires is gonna strengthen my weary bones. The endless sorting task they have hidden away will entertain me for months even if I don't find anything good in that mess.
Johnny Cash recorded a demo theme for the movie "Thunderball." It's not a good fit for James Bond, but it's very catchy. youtu.be/Tx-x-sGk9oI?...
MST3K always brings me joy. I've been playing townscaper. I went back to a drink and draw for the first time after a month last night.
I've been listening to a lot of Hozier lately. A lot of his more recent songs are very like... pow! I like em. Its good stuff.
I've recently been replaying the OG Ratchet & Clank games and falling in love all over again with the brilliant worldbuilding. Thugs4Less my beloved.
I've been playing a couple games that I've been really looking forward to, a sequel and a prequel to two separate IPs that came out basically out of nowhere, and it's been a lot of fun :D I've also been looking to make themed characters in Elder Scrolls Online, and it's been a really fun journey:D
A lot actually, ehm... Been playing Relic Hunters Legend like usual (very underrated game), started replaying Super Metroid and it's so fucking good, but also played the unbeatable demo amd it's such a peak game already
I've been re watching tru blood and it's more hilarious than I remember.
Hi, Casey. Here are some pretty flowers. I find that flowers help with emotion because I can focus on the pure beauty of something for even just a short while. Sending you lots of comfort and love 🌺
My new corgi puppy
I'm replaying Hollow Knight with the Vocalized mod that gives it full (high quality!) voice acting. The fact that so many fans came together to create something this cool and ambitious, solely motivated by a work of art they all enjoyed, is unironically beautiful.
I started embracing being overly enthusiastic about stationary and started planning for the future and journaling.
I'm listening to Piranesi and reading The Martian, enjoying both. I thought the short film put out about Marathon looked phenomenal! I'm watching Twin Peaks as well, just finished episode 5 and stuff is crazy! And also I just planted my garden, and a wren is nesting in the garage.
I'm a part of my local communities Spamalot musical through effective accident and I'm enjoying doing theater again.
Really enjoying a new Gunpla kit. MG Epyon. I always thought it was a really cool Gundam, and it's been a fun build so far. I love working on models. It's like this great, relaxing activity that is detail focused without the focus draining me. It's kind of my zen activity.
I'm also kinda down, and Food Wars is a comfort show for me. I really love how hard they go into the silly drama. It's a simple world where every conflict can be solved by elaborate iron chef style cook offs. Everyone gets their own cooking super power. it's great.
I just got some Mortiis, Quest Master and Jim Kirkwood on cassette today! I fucking love Kirkwood so having some of his music physically is very exciting!

Had it pointed out to me that my cat has a secret cat hidden in her fur
Here’s a picture of my corgi mix. He’s a very sweet boy who loves pets and cuddles.
Ever play Blue Prince? It got really good reviews and they’re so valid. Like each time you do a run you find another piece of of lore or bit of fun. Progression is organic and based on what you discover so there’s something new to check out on each run. Probably one of my favorite games this year.
Been really enjoying this song lately. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7G-4...
recently i rewatched hbomberguy's essay on plagiarism and it really helped me out of a dark place
My favorite band is releasing a new album this week and it’s been years since I’ve been so excited. Their music truly makes me so happy 🥹
been on a puzzle kick lately so i recently finished Lorelei and the Laser Eyes and absolutely adored what it was going for with its narrative and style, surreal and abstract horror powered by a story that itself is the biggest puzzle of the game, Simogo is slowly becoming one of my favorite studios
Watched Fritz Lang's "M" last night, and my god it blew me away. There's still some early cinema jank (no foley or soundtrack, just dialogue and passing cars) but it kind of added to it. Raised some really ahead of it's time ideas about justice, and the ending had me sitting stunned for a while
Chuck Beans is a new manga at Mangaplus, began this year and its pretty good, that Chuck Beans always getting into some wacky shenanigan
Just finished a mod. It's a simple one of a simple game, but, it works with only a few minor bugs that I will fix.
chocolate, its extremely vapid but ive been eating chocolate and feeling better today
I've been obsessing over Bloodborne lately, way more so than my first playthrough (second character, on NG+ now) and just bought the DLC. Cosmic horror Victorian era sounds pretty good right about now.
Also all over One Piece, Columbo, started playing Owlboy, replaying The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, and I drew this
I enjoyed the sunlight and cleaning, and playing the piano badly in front of my mom
I'm really enjoying the prerelease forms of the new Gundam Card Game. It uses Hearthstone's Mana system, but with the twist of levels where you need a max amount to play a card that is separate from its cost, lvl 3 2 cost cards means you need 3 resources to play it but tap two.
Health wise it uses the now standard Bandai system of putting down a set amount of cards, six in this case, as shields which get destroyed with every attack, but you have base cards to protect them with.
And the big thematic thing is Linking, you can put a pilot in a mobile suit and that's called a Pair and the mobile suit gets bonuses from that, but if you use the exact trait or name the unit asks for when playing it it gets haste!
There's now Demo Deck Events until the game releases on July 12th where you can get a free half deck of free play cards, and the starter decks out in July have a special edition with the minis for the wargame out next year!
This is the first time I've been excited for a TCG release and I am desperate to make sure it gets popular enough here to keep going. If only so they release the G Gundam set and we get the Nether Gundam as a card. And Victory Gundam set too.
I'm kind of old but surprisingly I enjoyed watching Flow. It distracted me from all the noise and craziness that's all around us, for a little while. 🫥
this is where I go to in these situations www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nSB...
i binge-played rift of the necrodancer lately! i don't usually play rhythm games, but the soundtrack, art direction, and gameplay gimmicks in this one are just too good! it's the perfect game to zone out and just vibe for half an hour or so, pick up and play to make the bad thoughts go away :)
Besides the light of my life, my pack of dogs, I have had bad times but really enjoyed Warhammer Age of Sigmars Flesh eater courts faction. Enjoying their lore, enjoying their putting them together, and enjoying doing some kitbashing. Hopefully I will enjoy some painting soon as well!
Oh, and I recently discovered this film on Amazon Prime and it's become a new favourite: bsky.app/profile/mock...
Also, my cat Nev. He's good at bringing joy. Also biting people. But bringing joy too.
I know I'm years late but I got Smash Bros on my Switch last week - I've never played any of the previous ones - and I've been absolutely lost in it since then.
I also picked up Tormented Souls the other day on your recommendation as it's currently on sale on the Nintendo store, and I'm very much looking forward to getting into that soon.
I've been showing my friends cool old arcade games.
I am working on a three-novel series that I really love. I write in the mornings and after ten at night. It keeps me sane, honestly.
Kitty on the hobby space floor while I paint some minis. Hope this helps ❤️
I recently started listening to the Vocaloid producer Kikuo and have been completely blown away by their incredible music production their song "Anaguri Gurashi" ("Hole-dwelling") has been an absolute highlight – wait for the steelpans to kick in! www.youtube.com/watch?v=I15s...
Been checking out a ton of graphic novels from the library. It's nice to experience physical media without having it permanently take up space. I'm really into the art of Moebius, Phillipe Druillet, and James Stokoe. Been enjoying Jodorwsky's 'Jodoverse' (The Incal, Metabaron, etc.)
Also recently read the first omnibus of The Mask, and it was way better than I expected. Very different from the Jim Carrey movie. Now I'm gonna try and delve into Love and Rockets.
Little guy hiding from the rain. We’re going to get through this no matter how hard the downpour is. Every hundred years we have to do it all over again but we will win.
I am hundreds of hours deep into Valheim and still loving it.
WHERE DID THIS ANIMATION COME FROM!?
Recently watched mha vigilanties I think its really fun so far!
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury! It's Shakespeare's The Tempest as a lesbian mecha anime heavily influenced by Revolutionary Girl Utena. It's also very deliberately written to be as friendly an entry point into the wider Mobile Suit Gundam franchise as can be
I'm reading Emma Bull's War For The Oaks for the first time and enjoying it *immensely*. I'm also playing some of the new Vampire Survivors expansions and those are super fun too! And I had a burrito bowl for dinner, which: yum. ❤️
I'm working on a Trench Crusade thing with some friends and seeing the absolute quality they are capable of is inspiring as fuck.
New OK Go video? New OK Go video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gz9B...
Also that new little Monster's Expedition standalone thingy was just a lovely little snack-size puzzler, got me to grab the original too since I hadn't played it store.steampowered.com/app/3352300/...
My little sister invented a card game, and we all love to play it (full disclosure, we gamble at it as a family). Golf Match helps us stay sane as a group!!
Our 3 year old brought up a double-ended knitting needle to play with, from a basket on top of a tall cabinet. We named him after the Wallenda highwire-walking family for a reason!
Starting a new band with my fiancee and a previous band mate called Fry Night!!!. I have no idea what it's gonna be but I'm pretty excited for it.
Got my Vinyl of Myrkur's Folkesange. Beautiful voice to listen to and the music overall is just so relaxing.
...I uh, finally got art of my OC owed by an artist who for *very* understandable reasons had to take a long hiatus. Her name's Rudy and she is a were-hyena
Getting out in the yard & tearing things up, pulling out weeds, digging in the dirt, planting things
I've been watching a lot of Bluey lately. It always gives me the feeling you get after a good therapy session. Like "ahhh, I needed that. Maybe life's not so bad." Bingo is my favorite 💕
Crunchyroll put out a collection of the original digimon OVAs that made up the american digimon movie from 2000. The VA bloopers were priceless.
I run a comedy improv troop, and during the winter we have to have our weekly meetings on Zoom. But because it’s spring and the temperatures have warmed up, we met in my garage last night and set the whole neighborhood on fire with laughter.
Got back into Division 2 with friends. Game's still going after 6 years, which is wild. Also, been picking up commissions from fandom artists in a bid to support those that made our fandom the wonderful little thing that it is. Have some horse, if you like.
I got a bicycle for the first time in 7 years and good lord, I missed the feeling! I'm actually motivated to go outside and go explore my surroundings again ^^
Absolutely having a blast on my revist of the DMC games. Reminding myself of why i love them so much.
XENOBLADE CHRONICLES X DEFINITIVE EDITION!! so rare does a non-walking sim open world game strike a massive chord in me and the original release already did it. i want more open world rpgs like this. class building is fun, the side quests are deep and engrossing (and also funny). i need more
Just downloaded Blue Prince from PS Plus and absolutely loving it. Unique and fun rogue like puzzler. Not sure if it is on other platforms but if you have PS4/PS5 give it a try.
Just this morning I learned of a Clive Barker script for a Mummy movie, in which a trans woman thief is hired to steal a cursed artefact from a museum, with shoggothy consequences. It never got made and it's not available to read, but I've been lost in a reverie all day imagining it.
👏Fan👏 fic! 👏Fan 👏fic! 👏Fan 👏fic! 🙏💖
Rediscovered the IN Other Waters OST by Amos roddy. Great chill "scavenger Reign" water/space vibes. amosroddy.bandcamp.com/album/in-oth...
Last night I saw the play No Apologies by Emma Frankland, and it was absolutely incredible. Hopefully they will be able to tour it, because it needs to be seen. www.emmafrankland.co.uk/work/no-apol...
I’ve been playing Promise Mascot Agency lately, and I swear it’s probably the most fun I’ve ever had with a video game in… I don’t even know how long. I enjoy it every time I pick it up; it doesn’t have the half-life that other games have for me it’s just genuinely a fun time.
Read the graphic novel THE DEEP DARK recently. Really good book.
I saw a really good baseball movie called EEPHUS. That was a good movie.
Thanks for watching! Glad you liked it!
I enjoyed a lot the anime about heliocentrism Orb... i warn you...is a rollercoaster of emotions. Like i get deeply sad for a character in the 4th episode.
I been enjoying drawing Kobolds lately. Just cute little monchers. Here is one in a sundress.
Cuuuute
no u! uwu (Thank you Darkfry!)
Aaaaaah! Kobold in a summer dress! UwU absolute cute!
Re watching Ab Fab
I started watching Apothecary Diaries and after just one episode I see why everyone I know was so crazy about it. Incredible show, I'm hooked after just one episode.
Been enjoying South of Midnight myself. The story and animation are wonderful 💜 Outside of videogames, been attending my local game stores boardgame group! Trying a couple new boardgames every week and getting some IRL social interaction has been great after being a shut in.
Sweden just beat Finland 2-1 in ice hockey, that's fun for me! I've also been reading a thorough and well-done review of the Starfinder TTRPG and that's been very interesting.
I've developed an interest in shipping (maritime, not slashfic) and I'm especially passionate about jack-up barges - vessels which can lift themselves out of the water to perform maintenance on wind turbines, oil platforms etc Last week I got to see my favourite one, Wavewalker, for the first time.
I'm emjoying the current lineup of Age of Sigmar novels, auhtors like Evan Dicken are killing it right now, and as a big fantasy gal, I enjoy that the AoS side of BL is so good right now. Also Halo 3 gives me joy right now with its simplicity. It does not ask a lot from me which is good right now.
Baldurs Gate 3 🙂↕️
Dragon Age: Inquisition is really good and it's cheap now because it's old.
I really enjoyed Keep Driving, an indie game that's sorta like Oregon Trail but you're an aimless 20-something in the 90s. It also has lots of great music from Swedish indie bands. store.steampowered.com/app/2756920/...
Oo! I’m gonna check this out, thank you!
Early 2000s*
Yup, I was a little off
It's weird, I thought the same thing until I read the game's description recently. I could have swore my first run explicitly took place in the 90s.
BEST GAME EVER MADE? YES! Though doesn't it take place in the early 2000s? I guess it's really not that important. (I got the "work" ending the other day and it was too real).
I think you're right about the timing, I was a little off
I have been very excited to play it but unfortunately I have the account balance of an aimless 20-something in the 20s
Its excellent
I was a 20 something in the 90s!
I've been playing through pikmin 3 with my gf rn and it's been fun doing hard mode, I'm kind of a lil bad at it but it's nice to get to work together and the game has such a whimsy to it and I love the sound design of pikmin a lot.
Also the other night i went to a local noise show and seeing people perform live healed something in me.
The current endgame raid in Final Fantasy XIV has been pretty amazing. The story is basically "What if WWE, but in FF?" The fight design is hella fun. All the bosses fuse with the soul of an animal or monster, so one fight you fight a froggy disco guy. His attacks all revolve around his fight song
Oh, he's also a bunny guy normally, so they let him keep his ears.
My sister got a couple of new puppies, and they're the cutest puppers.
I've been listening to John Romero's Doom Guy.
Been taking improv classes here lately. It's been a lot of fun and it's cool doing something creative where teamwork is such a huge part of things. It's making art without a lot of egos getting in the way. It's been fantastic.
Bravo for your commitment! Enjoy!
I think everyone should do a little improv to get them in a more flexible mindset.
We are watching Ted Lasso again. Feels good to laugh.
Started Bayonetta 1 and it's been pretty fun. Also finished the weird Layton Phoenix Wright crossover and it was more fun than expected, given I never see people talk about it. (somehow this combo has me wanting to write about the existence of the "dominatrix comedy archetype" in Japanese media)
I've recently become obsessed with The Legend of Vox Machina. I plowed through all 3 seasons in a short time. Now I've been watching Critical Role clips of their live D&D games. I'm hooked and become a whole new fan of theirs.
Managed to do an iteration of a ttrpg project I've been working on (lost count on how many iterations I'm at, worked on and off for like... 6-8 years?), fairly pleased with where it's at. Getting to playtesting it. Fun stuff. That and I've potted a bunch of herbs in preparation for summer.
Been loving doing art and daydreaming other projects... when you don't have the money, your brain's the next best thing! Snow's been thawing too, i think it's nice to see the ground again :]
Common Side Effects is an absolutely top tier tv show not enough people are talking about. It’s an animated adult swim show but it’s a drama thriller on the quality level of something like breaking bad or severance. And it uses the medium of animation to its fullest.
Been playing a lot of Starsector lately, and dude it's so lovely to hear that main menu music again. Like coming home to an old friend. Carving a safe space out of the ashes of the Persean Sector never gets old
youtu.be/eDV_qQ3fapw?... linkity link :3 (Go play Starsector btw. It's Mount and Blade IN SPACE with so much beautiful art and we'll crafted lore)
I finally got to Chapter 5 in Rogue Trader! Just been so busy with work but loving it and wow where am I now and so glad it didn't pull another Chapter 3!
my fursuit arrived last week! it's every bit as amazing as I'd hoped,,,,,,,
I recently bought Lunacid because you and other people I follow were talking about it and I'm having a blast, though I'm very lost. I'm also very glad I made a Bluesky account because I've found so many talented artists here and I get to see amazing art on the daily.
Sat in an outdoor meeting at work and took the time while listening to pick violets and make a violet chain. Also I just built a chicken house for my chickens. Also did my shopping at a nearby Chineses grocery instead of Kroger and it felt a little like traveling - so that was joyful. Hang in there.
In the home stretch of my first time playing Chrono Trigger. A tiny thing I've adored is pausing the game and hearing the little bit of trailing SNES reverb in the music when the songs stop. Makes it feel like the game's pushing the notes out live, and I'm asking the band to take a breather.
I'm learning braille. not that i fear losing my sight, but it's interesting, and it's satisfying to read quicker and quicker. And it's a great way to occupy my mind while resting my eyes (although usually i can't read more than half a page at a time for now, because i get too sleepy)
Two things. 1. Got my bass guitars fixed up and am learning to play. It’s slow going, but I’m enjoying the sound of the bass. 2. While I don’t have a bicycle yet, shopping around and learning about them—their components, how/when to use the gears, etc—has been strangely fascinating.
Figure skating! World Champs in Boston was terrific, and the World Team Trophy is going on in Tokyo right now. It’s a much goofier competition with the skaters in silly costumes doing little cheer routines for their teammates. The announcer & some of the technical staff are wearing mascot heads🐼
Been watching the Jurassic World animated series (Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory) on Netflix are a lot of fun. Great shows, lots of dinos getting nerded out over, it's a good time.
I hope you are doing ok. My little house horror released on consoles yesterday so I am super happy with it. I really appreciate you and always look forward to seeing your recommendations. I also appreciate you taking the time to play it back in October. bsky.app/profile/gord...
I was about to purchase this game on a Casey rec alone, but the song from your trailer really delighted me as a cherry on top. Excited to play.
Oh no that song is a terrible earworm, it's a curse I tell you, A CURSE!!! Save yourself!
Yeah Casey is right, you're all doomed. All who hear the song become part of the song.
ah neat thanks for mentioning the horror part i saw the screenshot and thought it was just another Unpacking
The trailer has a few hints in it, and I also made sure to post the inspirations for the game too: bsky.app/profile/gord...
this inspiration chart has made me want your game 10x more jsyk
yes! i see it now, i just couldn't tell from the steam thumbnail that it wasn't about that, so didn't also see the trailer etc
(The ending song is such a banger and it's ear-wormed me so bad.)
(Ear-wormed me so bad? So good? I don't know the phrase BUT IT WAS NICE.)
Ha ha I understand, I'm glad you liked it!
I am very happy that two games that i have been looking foward for a long time (Deltarune Chapters 3/4 + Inazuma Eleven Victory Road) are finally releasing this year!
the flowers are blooming and birds are singing again
I have been playing on a private spun-off WoW classic server and enjoying the slower, more thoughtful pace to the gameplay. The older mechanics make you feel much more like an adventurer going up against difficult odds instead of being the chosen hero who can turn the tides in every fight.
That commandos games p good. Like, possibly even commandos 2 good????
I got to play lots of Spirit Island with friends recently! Easily my favorite board game of all time!
Uhhh...hmmn I did pick up Cyberpunk again? Have trouble focusing on a game for long but had a real good time using my Sandevestan/Shotgun combo. Still havent played the dlc though X3
Synergy came out of 1.0 the other day, bit of a city Eco Builder with *very* Moebius looking style to it. Very chill in a good way, helping get my mind in a better place with low key positivity. store.steampowered.com/app/1989070/...
I rewatched Babe and cried tears of joy at the little pig
That'll do
Been thinking about that film a lot lately. Need to rewatch it. Watched the VHS a lot when I was younger.
the music of Yoko Kanno in general, this one the most at the moment music.youtube.com/watch?v=79w0... sorry, this question was way harder to answer than i thought...
i have a short playlist with mostly Yoko Kanno songs called "pick me up" on youtube that i queue up then let the algo take over after. it usually seeds up a lot more of her work after it's done playing. it does the work :)
I watched "The Idea Of You" recently on Prime and it was really well done.
I have a goofy toad who lives in my garden. He was doing some toad yoga in my rocks - downward toad pose.
I'm watching my parents dogs for them this week. So I get to spoil them a bit and they get free pets. It's a good trade.
Started reading the Medalist manga after thoroughly enjoying the anime. It tugs on my heart strings and is beautiful!
We're finally watching Bablyon 5, and it just hits different than any of the current media Like the toothless 90's lib We're Post Racism vibe are strong, and that clearly didn't go anywhere in the end, but gosh I do kind of like the optimism anyways even if it was hollow in retrospect
Oh and this. Any time I remember Duck Paradox exists I smile. store.steampowered.com/app/2058150/...
I beat my depression and cleaned my snake's enclosure and I feel proud of myself - I didn't do much because I didn't want to disturb her while she's shedding but even the bit I did made me feel happy and I'm sure she's happier too. 💖🐍
I found what might be my dream job as a trainee in film conservation and restoration, made good progress with a cover letter for it, and on top of that I went round my sister’s to cat-sit last night, they’re perfect croissants.
When I fully confirmed that we are indeed in a demi-Holocaust 2.0 and that I'm on the right side of history by trying to raise awareness (since it's the most I can do right now). But. That's almost the best part, the BEST part was realizing that I am DEFINITELY not alone. 🥃
An oldie-but-a-goodie that never fails to make me feel things in a good way is listening to the New World Symphony (the whole thing) by Dvorak. Sure it's nerdy, but it sneaks up on me every time. If you're looking for something rarer, another suggestion: "Flowers in October" by Tim Janis
started playing Morrowind for the first time, 15 hours in and I've barely scratched it but I'm having a good time so far
Recently got back into the series Haikyuu! Who knew after all this time I’d be able to get right back into the very thing I loved that got me through high school pretty much even tho I’ve never played volleyball myself? Bless this series 🧡
Weirdly got back into warframe. It's a jumbled mess of systems and unravelling them is kind of a joy.

THE STUDIO (Apple) - every episode is a laugh fest for me. HACKS (Max) - S4 E1 - ooooh, the rivalry is heatin' up! THE LAST OF US (Max) - S2 E1 - Smarter zombies- oooooh, it's going to be a great season. THE HANDMAID'S TALE - in S3 - after some fun shows, I get back to watching reality TV.
COMING SOON: COMPANION (film on Max tomorrow 4/18): highly recommend! I caught it in Jan. at AMC Screen Unseen and then watched the Blu-ray from the library with family last weekend and they loved it and one said she's going to watch it five more times. Go in cold....don't even look at the poster.
ive been rewatching a anime that got me into anime when i was younger. it was the first thing i can remember really gaining a hyperfixation for and going back to it years later has been a nice nostalgic trip and i feel i can better appreciate it and the work that went into it now
I’ve picked the Demon’s Souls remake again recently and I’m really enjoying it despite its numerous frustrations. 😁
Watched Black Bag in theater and it really got me excited about how good movies can be.
ive been recently cataloguing my games collection, it's been fun to see how much I own and what's digital and physical
One of my buddies and I have gotten into the habit of every day sending a track from a video game to each other since we've been lifelong gamers! Outside of that super stoked for Clair Obscur next week! (May have taken the day off to indulge)
Last night I was overwhelmed, so I went on a movie binge. I really enjoyed rewatching Tank Girl. I don't care what anyone says, this movie slaps. www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpxW...
I just finished Poker Face season 1, which was fantastic. Hyped for season 3 of Leverage Redemption, which I think starts today
We just finished our playthrough of deltarune with friends and been enjoying the hell out of haste
My flowers in my front garden have started to bloom. I thought they would die due to floods we had in my hometown. They had stayed dormant I guess. So there is hope for the flowers and there is going to much pollination from the bees!
I recently rediscovered one of my favorite toylines as a kid, The Incredible Crash Dummies, and am in the process of picking up the ones I have fond memories of.
I really enjoyed the daredevil finale, after some urging from *you* (several months ago lol) I reinstalled mechanicus and I'm definitely enjoying it more this time around. Oh and just finished The Infinite And The Divine bc I wanted something appropriate to read and it was a BLAST
After you posted recently that Viscerafest is finally out of early access I've been playing that. Bought it a while ago, really love the game despite being more interested in the art style and story than the gameplay, love Caroline as a protagonist and the voice actress does an amazing job.
Also watched Common Side Effects. Still mad we'll never get a second season of Scavenger's Reign but CSE is a pretty good consolation prize and it gives me Deus Ex 1 vibes in the best way possible.
Enjoying Look Outside! Thank you so much for bringing it some attention, otherwise I might've never learned about it! Today I'm also coming up on my 5th weekly Stupid Mental Health Walk; Hubby and I decided to take one every week and pick up litter in our neighborhood. Shots from the last four!
i’ve been enjoying slow rides to my destination, no fast travel, in red dead redemption. just clip-clopping my way down the road.
“Country” by Keith Jarrett. Jazz at its best.
I finished my first book and I’m pretty proud, with art by Ukrainian artists, cover painted by Oleg Bertodo (available for $0 at ko-fi.com/itsnket )
I work retail & we have this kitty cat called Pops who always hangs around the entrance to our store, he's the sweetest little thing!
So much, only so many characters. Okay, so there’s a project I’m hush-hush on for now, so until I can talk about it, lemme gas up @book4air.bsky.social . I finally can see the stories of the comics, and with exquisite voice acting by some of my greatest friends, like @lucialobosvilla.bsky.social
A little over a year ago, I set out to read/reread every X-Men related comic that I own, up to the end of Jonathan Hickman’s run. It’s a lot. I’m now nearing the end of my little marathon, and I’m enjoying/looking forward to the last couple books I’ve got left.
