It's a great game so far, it's cheery and charming, with slick visuals and a fun gameplay loop. Glad I brought it! It seems to run really well on Steam Deck already too, with only two major problems I can see: - FPS tanks in some buildings/menus - Seemingly can't carry progress between devices

Yeah, played offline on Deck first, then moved to PC and it was as if I'd never played
Ah, yeah. So, we have two different saves as sort of a failsafe: local and cloud. If you only play offline, you will only have a local save because you're not connecting to the server to generate a cloud save.

Some feedback: * the dialogue is, at seemingly random times, muffled * it's not very clear when the way forward is open * it's not clear whether there's any incentive to ever use manual fire * it's not clear if hits to non-critical areas do damage for all enemies (see more below)
* ai tends to give up/be more clunky when you're up close, making it easier to "cheat" this way. * PLEASE make it at least optional for "reload" to be repeated over and over when shooting on empty. Once is fine,re-re-reload is annoying. It should really be a visual indicator or just a sound though.
* if you like the "reload" you should have an option to change the sound * I'm not sure if parry difficulty is meant to be that high. Maybe the timing is only so tight on the top difficulty * It's unclear what sync rate does * missiles are a pretty great and helpful mechanic & the music is nice.

You should really label the free part of it as a demo, it's kind of misleading to present the game demo/intro as a free game and then have the rest of the game be presented as a DLC.

Just beat the demo. Absolutely one of the better Survivor-likes I can't wait for the full release. Especially the proposed village building feature which was something I thought something like Bone-Raiser Minions could benefit from. (Goblin builds go so fucking stupid later in the run holy shit)
