I've never prayed so hard for something to die so hard in my life. These past 8 years it have been SO unfathomably hostile to creators: the censorship sweeps, shops killing off small artists, the AI pushes combined with stealing, the constant platform migration & mental suffering is never-ending.
Also the HBM glut this will leave may help slow power/TDP and card width bloat in GPUs... not to mention the noise savings from the reductions in heat.

Even if you did, the sooner the bubble pops the less the damage will be. Over the last decade, Big Tech has grown from ~10-15% of the US stock market to ~35%. (Note: Big Tech won't go to zero so the risk isn't quite this big) The longer this goes on, the worse it gets.
A more realistic range for a right-now crash would be on the order of 5-10%. This would suck a lot, but not even push pension funds underwater. The problem is that this can rot and fester to infinity. It'd take a lot to get there, "everyone's pension is now zero" is a theoretical possibility.
