I like smaller numbers If the numbers are too big they become meaningless and lose weight, but small numbers? Like, let's say Darkest Dungeon. A crit feels huge even tho its still in double digits.

This is a random question I've always wanted to ask but never figured a good when to do so: Why a sloth? I know a lot of furries like myself have various stories as to why they chose an animal, even for a particular avatar. Is there one for the Sloth?

Cost of food and dog itself aside, make sure you have the money for vet costs: the heartworm preventatives, a yearly visit, vaccines, etc. Pet insurance can help in case of big emergencies. If you're not totally sure yet, see if a local shelter has a foster-to-adopt program! Like a trial run -

and the ones I'm aware of will cover the dog's cost while you do that. And if at the end of it, you decide it doesn't work, that dog -still- got to spend some time in a home and not in a shelter full of other stressed-out animals! It's a win-win either way.

(i know this was asked at Casey but I am always full of thoughts on dog ownership, lol)

Also, depending on what country you live in? Pet insurance. In the US, from what I understand, it's not worth the paper it's printed on, but in Finland it's been pretty handy and I wish we'd had it sooner (having come from the US, I had assumed it would be worthless)

i'm in the US and i -still- have it, just in case some horrible emergency happens. no clue how useful it'll be if it does, but at least i'd still have the chance to yell at someone to help me pay off an emergency vet visit.

I don't think I can answer that, because I'm very pro dog, but I can't know your situation so can't really advise. But if you do get a dog? Treasure that dog. Take 'em for lots of walks.
