Honestly phobia does means an irrational fear OR aversion for something so it's technically the correct suffix. That all noted since people rarely use the latter definition (outside of hydrophobia sometimes I guess?) it probably would be clearer to use transmisia or something like that.

I think there is little point in sounding alarm bells in a room that is fully ablaze. Everyone in that room is either going to ignore the bells, since they're OK ignoring the fact that they're on fire as well, or already scrambling to escape or put out the fire and they don't need the distraction.
