It's always shocking and disappointing that most cis people don't know that trans women develop breasts when on hormone replacement therapy, and the people who are very, very vocal about us know the very least. The conspiracism that come out if you try to defer to experts; "institutional capture!"

They assume that all trans women get breast implants. The average cis has a pretty poor understanding of HRT in general; quite a few still think "sex change surgery" is a single procedure.
I keep explaining to people what hormone replacement even is let alone what it does. Even people who rabidly support trans people are like, “wow I didn’t know it did that” when I talk about it. I think people think trans women are basically just really extra dedicated to drag and do surgery about it

They clearly didn't pay attention during any class actually involving hormones, since a small amount of extrapolation from basic info about hormones would lead to the conclusion of "person+estrogen likely=boob growth," similar to what I would guess is a possible effect of testosterone...beards. 🤷♂️
