unfortunately, a lot of people who are ostensibly trying to defend trans people here aren't rejecting that NYPost framing that she was never actually trans and was just brainwashed, which doesn't really seem to be the case here

“detrans” is at least two categories of person - cis grifters and - trans ppl who hide from themselves bc of abuse, being love-bombed by terrible ppl etc from the quotes above it sounds like she’s the latter

i know someone who dated a girl like that. she was trans until she started hanging out w conservatives and suddenly she started blaming all of her trans friends for transing her and so on before cutting them all off
