My teacher selected Für Elise for one of my recitals. During my weekly lesson and practice I was struggling through it and she’s like no here this is how you play it and she proceeded to whip right through it. It was beautiful.

But I’m thinking to myself sure lady that’s how you play it but that’s not how I play it. 😂 I’ll never forget that. Every time I hear the song to this day it takes me right back to her living room and her two pianos and to her. And that’s been 58 years ago! 😂

I’m thinking I need to get myself a keyboard of some kind. I can read music and have a lot of sheet music left from those days. Yeh. I think I should. 🎹

It’s a great relaxing tiny. I can read music too. It’s like a mathematical formula. It’s so interesting. I am still learning sharps and flats. Have a great teacher who’s a youngster and has tremendous patience with me. Helps arthritis in hands to. So nice texting you.😊

I think it helps with mental focus too. Reading music that is. And the discipline to continue even though you’re struggling. Right back at you. ♥️
