Is there a way for the local aquarium to tell if their octopus has a pee worm?

I think the answer is simply "yes!" 😆 Pretty much all octopuses that have been studied have dicyemids. In fact, there's some evidence that these "parasites" may be symbionts that help with excretion! I'll write about that in a future panel but here is a reference: link.springer.com/content/pdf/...
