As it happens, this is one thing I do know - he wanted the move. He wants a new challenge. Wages etc were agreed with Utd start of the window, but they wouldn’t pay the sale fee. This is why I thought yesterday meant they must have agreed to pay it

Baffles me how terms can be agreed when a fee hasn’t been agreed between the clubs. Something has to change with how transfers and the timing of windows work - it’s just becoming farcical

If u think about, transfers normally break down due to the fee/payment structure etc. It’s rarely personal terms.
