This is a little knit picky but I don’t know if this translates to art exactly because it is the ideas that matter- I mean historically from Michelangelo to goldsworthy those guys needed people under them to do the labor, of course they were capable of doing it themselves and they did
Working with “interns” to teach valuable skills is as old as society. AI is not “doing the work”, it’s regurgitating statistical models. And the “artist” using it is just ripping off uncredited work represented in those statical models.
Ok yeah AI is a different story, I didn’t catch the context. I am against AI in general.
