The BBC is only ever rigorous and forceful at pushing back when it's a response to a complaint. Their journalism takes the opposite approach.
I agree I have found that too. But would still encourage people to take a few minutes to complain. If there are enough complaints they may eventually explore why. But if no-one complains, there will definitely be no reason to ever change.
I can't stand the patronising replies so I gave up on complaining a while ago. There's never even a chink of self-awareness or genuine reflection in any of the responses I've seen.

It definitely needs citizen oversight, which should be transparent and visible to the public in some way. I think the license fee needs to be reviewed over longer periods, so it’s less influenced by the government of the day. Make access to the gov legally binding to reduce fear of “losing access”
I've heard (don't know if true) BBC reform was year 2 + in Labour plans, immediate priority was economic. So, hopefully they'll come up with something. There was a recent big consultation, I responded v fiercely on platforming Farage.

Have you seen what is happening to Labour in the opinion polls. You, and others like you, sticking with them to keep out Reform could be the thing that enables Reform to beat the Green/Lib Dem candidate by a small margin while the Labour candidate is an also-ran.
Last GE, my area. Plaid pulled 3.6k votes, Libs 1.4k Grn 1.6k and ref 7.9k. Lab won on 16.5k. Cons 6k. Guess there are not many Lib or Grn here. Realty of the situation. Though we have a new voting system for the Senedd but still FPTP for GE. My vote is hugely mobile (apart from ref and Con).
Just checking the Senedd last and Lib pulled 768 votes though there is a regional element to them as well, different system.
