On another note, last night I saw "Honey Don't" and I would like to spare you that experience.

How many people have been part of a top-tier creative partnership and then gone on to do great things solo? I can think of Paul Simon, but maybe he started as a solo artist with top-tier harmony. Probably there are many producers, editors, etc that I just don’t know about.
Bjork, Neil Young, John Lennon, Jordan Peele, Tina Turner.
Peele, great one! Young: insufficently integrated into csny I think Lennon: Imagine, Instant Karma and Happy Xmas are all good but not that good Turner & Bjork I don’t know enough about
For Neil Young I was thinking of Buffalo Springfield and for John Lennon I was thinking of the album Plastic Ono Band, which is brilliant.
Lauryn Hill comes to mind, but for sure this can be a tough path
Good call!
Ice Cube
Multiple media even
I was going to say Dr Dre but not really sure if that counts because he always collaborated.
I guess that’s its own skill.
Fred Astaire, Jerry Lewis, Joni Mitchell, Lou Reed, Brian Eno...
good ones! not sure if Eno solo qualifies. And I didn't realize Mitchell had a "before," what are you thinking of?
Brian Eno solo is one of the most influential electronic and avant garde musicians of all time (plus some excellent art-pop records). His Ambient Music series created a whole genre. Joni was half of "Chuck and Joni Mitchell" from 65-67.
father john misty!
Thank you!! You just saved me a couple of hours!
I have YET to see anyone say something even REMOTELY, PASSINGLY good about this movie
I will say the opening credits were cool
All other defects aside, from a queer female perspective, it was like watching a bunch of weird stereotypes from the last century. And not hot.
Oh no, that’s sad to hear. I was looking forward to it
Oh, darn, I was hoping it would be worth seeing.
nooooooo
Just say "Honey, don't".
Here for your enjoyment and edification is a much (IMHO) better “Honey Don’t”. 🎼😎🎶 CarlPerkins w/Ringo Starr
Good to know, I was tempted on sitting down one of these times and watching it but thank you!
