He was weaselly throughout the hearing, but later he accused her of “pre-judging” the new ASIP board and saying she wouldn’t approve them regardless - “Are you a trustworthy person [who I can trust to approve them]?” And furthermore his accusation of “pre-judging” seems like obvious projection…

… so one gets the feeling that he called her in and said “we’re firing the ASIP board and putting in new people,” and she said “uh, I can’t go along with that, we really shouldn’t be doing that” and he said “really, you’re PRE-JUDGING THEM without even knowing who they are???” and fired her
