Yeah, 2015 is when it went mainstream. We used "sex" prior to that, and most still do, as its accurate, objective and falsifiable. 'Gender' is a belief system, it is subjective, unfalsifiable and not measurable or testable. Its like claiming souls exist or gods exist or thetans exist.
