Uh, I'm not. They deemed the book was racist, in one of the Toronto school boards and was banned a few years ago as well as other books such as to kill a mockingbird. Our school boards in Canada are so far left and extremist that they are being appointed supervisors from ministry of education.

Plus there is no mention of "the left" wanting to ban any books. The Supreme court decision related to the Surrey case - which was prompted by the right.
There is no mention of Toronto in either of those articles. Plus, "The district made clear that the books were not being banned. They are still available in school libraries." They have been removed from recommended reading lists. I still don't agree with that, but there is a difference.

Its hard to find, I actually tried to find it and couldn't. Margaret Atwood was upset at it herself. Right now all search results only bring up Edmonton, even with Toronto in search term. I will try and find Margaret's post about it.
