Clearly her constituents need protection from her armed goons. It’s wild that expressing your opinions and experiences to your elected representative is verboten unless your opinions are the same as theirs. This is not representative democracy!

150 people allowed into the "town hall" and at least 30 security guards. That ratio plus the aggro response to people doing to her EXACTLY what she's done to others (Biden, Hogg, etc) suggests that the event was staged more for the public display of violence against protesters than anything else.
I'm sure. Aren't they screening who can come to their town halls now? At least some of them, I read something awhile ago but you know the trumpnado shitstorm has so many facets it's hard to keep up at times.
Yes they are. Todd Young just held a "town hall" that he charged $50.00/ticket for and protesters weren't allowed on the "private property". Desperate measures, desperate to control optics, desperate to ignore the people's voice.
They know their lives are in danger because they’ve pissed people off so badly. I hope the are scared every second of the day. I hope they constantly feel the need to look ver their shoulders.
The craziest part of this is that the people they need to be scared of are their most ardent supporters that they’ve spent the last decade radicalizing and whipping up into a hate-filled frenzy to “own the libs”. And they are also more likely to be 2A nut jobs and just unstable enough to act out.
🤞
You make an important point about her hypocrisy.
Gotta wonder if the people cheering weren't carefully chosen paid supporters. Isn't that what Repugnicans always claim, that all the protesters are paid? We know that every accusation is a confession...
Yes, I was thinking that too. I wonder how much it's worth to get tased by those mushroom caps?
I suspect the whole thing was a carefully curated show -- let a handful of ordinary people come in, knowing they'd be pissed enough to cause a scene, and have a small army of police on hand to violently and *publicly* drag them away. Didn't even see much actual protesting in this. It's all a sham.
Maybe they should all go to theatre camp...in El Salvador.
I'll help buy their tickets. One way only, as I understand.
Maybe even some free fall skydiving on the way?
Right! I can’t picture MTG giving an honest town hall.
I can't see her in the same building with anything honest let alone a room...
