I agree. This is my second time photographing them this close. Usually I can’t get close enough, but at my favorite kid’s fishing pond I can almost pet them. Crazy.

I used to spend a lot on time on the Gulf coast (Galveston Island) and loved watching the Brown pelicans drift along on the sea winds. I seldom saw them in the water.

That sounds wonderful. If I could fly I think I would spend a significant amount of time in the air. Freedom!
