Depression and other mental illnesses can negatively affect your immune system.
I completely disagree. Even medications they take don't lower their immune system, thats a fact.
Well, as a person suffering with depression and PTSD, you're wrong, but you do you.
As a person with complex PTSD, I can say that years of stress on my body compromised my immune system. It’s not as bad now, but it still isn’t where it should be. Maybe stay in your lane.
Same here!
I would think that would make it MORE beneficial to get the vaccine.. Strange that someone with a chronic condition that lowers their immune system is prevented from having the very thing to help them. (BTW - I no longer qualify for the booster - guess what I tested this morn for the 1st time EVER)
I’ve had all of my shots, and I still mask, and so far I’ve dodged COVID. May you have a speedy recovery!
Damn RFKJr! I really hope for your sake it doesn't affect you severely and you are able to get great help to recover.
Is that what your physician advised you of? I'm a Healthcare professional and do have a bit of knowledge on this. So, I am in my lane.
Actually, yes. Seven years of my life as a child/adolescent were spent in abject terror. More than one doctor has told me of the physical lasting effects.
Also, my therapists are aware of nexus of pain and depression linked to the abuse that I suffered.
