Agree but my educated friends even say “ when the elections are over, we don’t have to talk about politics”. So no follow up on reps or demands and accountability

Half the country has no one willing to represent them. The far right extremist 30% get represented by Republicans and the 20% juuuust to their left get the Democrats. The other 50% have no political home. Our democracy is broken because only the right wing nut jobs get represented in government.
