Most of the GPS problems come in eastern Europe, bordering Russia. The International Air Transport Association and the EU Aviation Safety Agency (Easa) held a summit in January to discuss GPS jamming and “spoofing” 😡 www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Go back to not overflying or flying way, way around malign countries? Will cost tremendously in jet fuel, but leadership might survive to govern yet another day in opposition to Putin. He is such a menace to the world order.

With a modest estimate of jamming range from Kaliningrad that means no flights over Lithuania and most of Poland and Latvia. VIP transport aircraft need better backup navigation options.

All of the VOR stations are still functional and all aircraft have the ability to utilize them for navigation, just like we did 30 years ago before the adoption of GPS.

Thank you. Not saying the issue isn't a problem, but folks were successfully navigating the skies long before GPS (or computers).
