I think this may be my last photo of Marmalade, at least the last one on my iPad. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge last month.

Thank you. He was such a sweetheart, and we really miss him, but his health had really declined and it was best to send him on his way.

The hardest decision, I know. But I’m glad you thought of him and his need before your own. We tend to do that, as a society, and so many pets suffer for too long.

He definitely was, probably the most affectionate cat who’s ever lived with me, and there have been a lot of them.
