The answer to that was not inaction in November no matter how fucked it was. It’s like people who had this line of thinking assumed whoever did win the election would say “man not enough people voted this time we should really examine and change these policies that led to my victory” it’s asinine

You’re missing the point entirely. There are not two parties. There is only the Corporatist party, with a few exceptions on both sides. If you WANT a real party, you have to stop playing their dumbass, manipulative game. We have 90 million eligible voters waiting for real representation.

I understand, and agree with that point. The work to undertake your point needs to be done for 3 years and 11 months between presidential elections. On Election Day though, it is a choice between two people full stop. Sitting that out ensures the greater of two evils. We failed this time
