Well, just make sure the candidate you prefer wins the nomination. I’d suggest that threatening millions of people with continuing the fascist regime if they don’t vote for your guy or gal isn’t going to help your case.

No one is threatening that. I personally am stating that I am unwilling to cast a vote to explicitly sacrifice some of my family and friends. That's the bottom line.
Yes they are. They are declaring that if Newsom is nominated, they won’t use their vote to oppose Trump fascism by either not voting or throwing away their vote on a third party.
"threatening millions of people with continuing the fascist regime if they don’t vote for your guy or gal" "declaring that if Newsom is nominated, they won’t use their vote to oppose Trump" You see how those are different things, right? Literal opposites directionally?
No one is saying "you have to vote for [Pritzker/etc] in the primary because that is the only person I will support" They are saying "Newsom has lost my vote because he has spoken and acted in ways that I cannot morally support"
What YOU do with that information, how it shapes YOUR vote, is up to you. Just like what we do with that information is up to us. It's not a threat, it's a statement of moral choice. I will not ever vote for a candidate that is willing to allow for the eradication of people I love.
That simply stands regardless of the other circumstances. Regardless of who the other choices are. If all of the choices are "trans women do not get to live," then I will abstain as a conscientious objector.
Because to do anything otherwise would make me unable to look one of my best friends in the eyes ever again. Strangers on the internet calling me a fascist supporter for that will never bother me one iota in comparison.
It’s a threat. Your moral justification for threat is irrelevant. The transphobes justify their oppression in moral terms as well. The actual effect is to threaten millions of vulnerable people.
They’re not saying “I won’t vote for Newsom as the party’s nominee.” They are saying “If you nominate him, I will withhold my vote from the Democratic nominee.” That’s a huge difference. One is an expressed preference. The other is a threat. And it’s not an idle one. It’s a real terrorizing threat

I'm squinting sideways at that and completely unable to discern: 1) Any difference between the two statements 2) How either is a threat 3) Why I'm bothering to respond this one last time, knowing you will clearly reply endlessly until you have the last word implying I'm a fascist. So go ahead.
They aren’t qualitatively different in our electoral system.
you're saying you'd settle for a more polite fascist regime that only hates and punishes the people you hate
Mischaracterizing Newsom as a polite fascist who hates Trans people isn’t helping your argument. You can criticize him for walking back his pro Trans stance on one issue and for other policy questions. But he’s Oskar Schindler compared to Trump.
no he's definitely Mussolini in that analogy
That’s comically stupid. Maybe FDR, who was far from a libertarian during the war. But he sure as fuck wasn’t a fascist.
Insulting me isn't going to help convince me. The only appeal beyond his party affiliation seems to be his similarity to trump. That's why he's preferable to other possible candidates.
Newsom has not denounced his own father for doing business with the Gestapo via Otto Von Bolschwing.
LOL, wut?
Gavin's father, William Newsom, did business with and travelled Europe with a member of the German Gestapo, in Otto Von Bolschwing. Gavin Newsom also has connections to Nazis Steve Bannon and Charlie Kirk.
You enable Nazis.
