Are you going to take this opportunity to promote your books at the Narnia Book Festival? π
I sense shoes⦠velvet shoes and maybe, just maybe, a velveteen rabbit amongst them
You paint such a good picture here. I can almost smell the mothballs!
I've always liked moths and never seen them make holes in things until we recently moved house and moved the bed and the woollen carpet underneath was literally shredded, with little tiny chrysalis shells around the holes!
Bombazine and organdie... Gonna have tah Google them. Thank you. Amd a very good morning to you! Sun be streaming in the living room as I flush out the coffee maker with "cleaning vinegar". I also have a load of clothes in the washer. Can barely contain myself! πππ
Oooh, how I would like to visit the Shed in person today! π
I had one of these in my first student room although it was empty when I arrived - I tried finding a way through the back but to no avail.
What a dream I had Dressed in organdie Clothed in crinoline
:-)
... of smoky burgundy...
... and Mr Tumnus is waiting...
Sounds like the one in my gra dad's house. I did enjoy the binoculars I found in there.
Grandad π
Does it have a secret passageway to a magical land? π
This makes me want to curl into a tiny ball and hide between those velvet coats and evening gowns unseen, listening to the grown-ups whispering outside. I adore your shed posts Joanne. One of the joys of hopping over to Blue Sky has been seeing them again. Many thanks π
Bombazine and organdie. What amazing words for fabric.
Never had the faintest idea what organdie was, but just googled and is still a *thing*
