This should allow critique by other experts although we also know that mainstream science gives space to fringe and harmful approaches for far too long (eg psych orgs now oppose conversion therapy but gave space for it for years).

Where we will get to is wide agreement in profession that this is Cass Conversion Therapy and it’s harmful. Notably since NHS abandoned evidence based care for trans young people it has avoided mainstream scrutiny and preferred pseudo science anti trans orgs like SEGM. Documenting is first step away
