The moving the goalposts fallacy is a type of informal fallacy where the goalposts (criteria for success) are constantly shifted to make it harder to achieve a desired outcome. Essentially, after an attempt is made to meet a certain standard, the standard is raised or changed.

Your blunder here is not just that you’ve moved the goalposts but that you’ve even failed to do that properly. Your reply mixes sports and spaces. Obviously moving the goalposts is just admitting you lost the argument but at least try to do it properly. You can’t even manage that.
