I'm hearing the same from GOP folks here in ruby red Arkansas. They are mad! They never dreamed they would have their jobs threatened at the IRS, VA, parks, FDA, family farms, etc. They are also worried about their Medicaid, Social Security, veteran's benefits, post offices, and IRAs being cut.
We tried to tell them! But so gullible and ignorant to project 2025...

People have told me quite different reasons they voted for Trump. One guy said he voted for Trump, despite not liking his morals, because he wanted smaller gov't, less regulations for his small business, an increase in his 401(k), and law and order. Now things have turned into a bloody mess.
Well, guess he'll see how destructive it will be for so called less regulations, More 401k...stock market soaring under Biden So generally i see weak if any facts for what those voters rationalize and didn't seem open to learning differently
People vote by what they think will protect the/ by fear, live paycheck to paycheck and rarely touch any savings if 60+ years old. The rest vote from fear of not having what others have because they think they deserve things—propaganda tells them others will take away— “US vs THEM” mentality.
It’s because they were told what to think via Fox, oan,etc. and on repeat every hour to enforce it. Every authoritarian government does this since the Soviet Union.
We need to make sure they understand it's not just him, it's the republicans who are going along with it too. The GOP in congress is behind him 100%

Brother today tried to tell me Biden ruined the economy and I reminded him to read more and watch less fox TV. He says he just cares about his “ world” and told him about the legal mishagas happenings. He’s regretting, but figures it will get better. Laughed at him and told him “ FU” —he laughed.
Great story. I'm glad you two are still in a relationship. Since the Trump regime took over (aided and abetted by Fox etc.), I've heard many folks say they have family members who aren't even speaking to each other anymore.

We are still in a great relationship because I do love my brother. No “ Us vs Them” with us. Plus he taught me my first profane/vulgar word growing up. I can still hear him laughing at me telling me I was going to get in trouble. So I said, “she it” is not a bad word!” He laughed harder! 😛
What a hoot! I grew up with four brothers, a pretty raucous, fun clan. So I know how you can have special feelings for a brother even if you squabble or disagree over politics.
It was fun growing up—fought a lot, supported more, and still enjoy each other. ❤️
