When we bury our heads and think things will pass because they always do. One day the sun won’t rise, like it always does. None of this ends because of a term limit. And how many will have needlessly suffered by then?

We've never survived burying our heads. And we damn sure can't now.
We didn’t. I guess I miss understood what you wrote. We can’t bury our heads and think the passage of time will be the end of this. We’ve never faced what we are facing before.
Absolutely. Never before has this occured. So, we then have to fight like never before. And I'm completely confident we will. 👍
Never before? Might want to brush up on your WWII history lol
I don’t find anything funny about this. I’m well versed on WW2, from both sides of the Atlantic. Americans didn’t face what we are facing now. Even the evil interment of Japanese Americans wasn’t as evil as this human trafficking has been.
Literally not talking to you, stay in your lane.
That was quite a lot different than this. All my uncles ran up Omaha Beach. Over there. Not here.
That's not what I'm referring to, I'm referring to the Asian Americans that the government sent to concentration camps.
that will look like a day at the beach compared to what's coming; they werent sent to concentration camps in a foreign country. their children werent kidnapped & traffiked... that we know of. i;m not condoning, at all, anything that was done, just that this time, it'll be much worse.
my ex-husbands family chose to leave ameriKKKa for japan. his grandparents were born in japan, but his mother & her 4 siblings were american-born citizens. they all came back after the korean war. both her brothers fought for ameriKKKa during wwll, as did all my uncles.
my father's older brother helped liberate dachau, & was never the same again. liberating dachau was different than that of other camps: the ameriKKKan government hung our warriors out to dry for killing SS guards encountered there, while the war raged & jews were still being marched to their deaths.
While evil then, it doesn’t compare to what’s happening now.
Yes. True. Relative to that horror, we are here again.
