It's terrifying to try to interact with 'health' 'care', especially when you're dependent on it and trust is gone. I run interference for Tony and it's multiple times per week being condescended to and mocked, even. #PatientSafety was an issue prior to COVID and advocating now may well finish me.

I suggest printing a bunch of these off, and just handing them to any professional who dares to mock you. Point out that the references are from peer-reviewed journals. Then let them steep in their own embarrassment and shame as they sputter defensive excuses. @drseanmullen.bsky.social

Thanks. I have a couple in each of our patient binders. I don't see mocking man in person (he's a MoA) b/c we do phone or parking lot appts. at our Nurse Practitioner due to lack of masks and abysmal CO2. Contacting the practice manager is the next step I've been avoiding. I can send this to her.
