this one^ I just can’t imagine voting against your own interests like that. and the administration is pushing the SAVE act bs, which will make it much more difficult to register to vote if your name doesn’t match your birth certificate (i.e. if you’re married and took your husbands last name)

They don't see it as against their interests. They see it as empowering white men, which gives them power by virtue of proximity. They're voting to keep themselves on the second rung of the ladder.

I know, that’s the problem. Instead of seeing the real life consequences, they’re only seeing that they’ll be safe by association through giving their voice away to white supremacy/christian nationalism. They genuinely believe that it’s the “right” way
