Also in the SF vein, anything by Ted Chiang. I think he has a couple of short story collections & a novella? Everything he does is fantastic. Good luck with all the books!

Have you been introduced to @premeemohamed.com's work? She has two short story collections out. No One Will Come Back For Us is a diverse and very entertaining SFF collection. One Message Remains is a smaller collection of stories all set in the same universe.
