They voted for him, those that did, because they believed him when he said he was going to make things better. Okay, yes, some of that is on them for believing him after his stint as 45. But most of it's on him for being a LIAR. 5/

Now more than ever, these are people who do not want the status quo. In fact, NONE of the voters you want to reach wants the status quo. And if you are sitting still not being scary...the status quo is what you are effectively offering. This will not get it done. 6/

So what you need to do is 1. Be visible. You don't need to be Gavin Newsom, but you need to put yourselves out there and make it clear that you don't like the current hellscape either. There are SO MANY THINGS not to like, you should be able to find something to say. 7/

2. Get out & talk to your constituents---i.e., the people who are going to vote for you. (Or not.) Care about what interests them. Find out what THEY don't like & talk about ways to fix it. Make it clear that you have plans for how to fix the almighty mess that is our current federal govt. 8/

Voters who want change are going to respond if you show them the change they want. 9/9 (There remains another class of voters, those who didn't vote for him...but also didn't vote for her, because she's Black or because she's a woman, or both. I acknowledge that these people exist, but that's it.)
