It’s a bit like a false death for most of them, they didn’t get quite enough water so they’ve gone into protection mode like they would in autumn and hopefully they’ll be fine in spring next year 🌱

not that we shouldn’t be concerned about the very dry summer we’ve all just had but nature usually finds a way to recover eventually. If anything the dramatic way that a lot of plants have reacted to the excess heat and lack of water might make some more people pay attention to how real this is
