Hello. I'm okay thanks. I spent a welcome couple of hours on the plot this morning. It's always good to have bumblebees buzzing around. Enjoy your day.

Thank you! It's always good to get out and work with the plants, even if it's just to see how things are doing and harvest a couple things. Have a nice evening.
I agree - cannot go wrong with herbs - flavor our food and feed the pollinators! Double bonus!
I was chatting with my neighbor in her garden yesterday; her Anise Hyssop was teeming with some sort of native bees while we talked. Ironically, she thinks some of her nearby vegetable plants have not been pollinated very well. Maybe they prefer the hyssop, and ignore cucumber blossoms? 🤷🏼♀️
All very complicated :) I’ve noticed that different bees like different flowers (albeit with overlap). Not sure who likes squash blossoms…
…and there’s so many different kinds of pollinators. Diversity for the win!
good morning Annaka. Love these bumbles. Going to work on my small set of photos from the Alebrijes: Keepers of the Island on Raspberry Island installation, and also pack for the PNW trip
Sounds like a nice mix of tasks! I hope we have good weather while you're in town. It has mostly been wobbling between rather warm and rather cool, not pausing in the middle. I look forward to hearing more about your itinerary :)
my itinerary is loose...for me (you know how I often overplan everything) Thursday arrive, explore westward, Friday-Sunday explore Olympic: Coasts, forests, and at least one trip to the interior to see mountains Monday: start heading east Tuesday: Into Seattle Wednesday: Seattle Thursday: Worldcon!
Sounds like an excellent plan :)
