Good morning! How are you holding up? What are you up to today? We got an inch of amazing rain in the last 36 hours. It mostly fell as a fine mist, no runoff at all. It was wonderful but surprising -- we usually get 1-2 rains in August, 1/8" or less. The plants are so happy!

Your flowers: How pretty! 🤩 We stocked up on during an early morning Farmer’s Market visit today. Intermittent rain is predicted over the next few days; with it, heat and humidity. I just made pie dough and put it in the fridge; I feel compelled to assemble a peach pie with local ingredients.

Rain joy for you! We had a chance yesterday, but no rain. The clouds helped ameliorate things, but when a day that tops at 96F is "cool," it says something about shifting perceptions. Today... Cactus pear themed "tea" with a friend.
