Class project is complete: green man with a red bird for a companion. My 1st attempt at cottonwood bark- piece is apprx 3” tall & finished with a coat of TerraNova oil, & topped with some diluted acrylic paint. #woodcarving #Hobby #PNW #GreenMan #WoodSpirit

A carved wood-spirit. Aprx 3” tall, hewn from cottonwood bark. His face is framed by green leaves- he’s accompanied by a small red bird at his lower left. A green man, carved from cottonwood bark.. he’s about 3” tall. His face is framed by simple foliage; & his companion, a small red bird, is at his lower left.
