Maybe it has something to do with the RW propaganda and the fact that "normal" news networks never reported the horrible things Trump wanted to do and "sane-washes" his crazy rallies. Oh, don't forget Musk giving him $300 billion and turning Twitter into a RW outlet.

And don't forget the millions of Russian (and other country's bots) pumping out disinformation to U.S. social media accounts, while Dems had nothing to fight back with. The Dems need millions of truth bots pumping out the truth to social media.

Yes it was really an incredible propaganda machine. They ran ads pretending to be Harris with extreme views. You can’t really conclude that the actual Harris campaign approach was faulty when many people weren’t even seeing it.
