I went all the way through chemo with no port, only doing venous access on the backs of my hands. They never looked like this. Not even close.

Mine did after being on a ventilator and whatnot for two months, and that's with rotating between my arms and hands for the IV. They had me on blood thinners, so the bruising was horrific. And my mom is over 70 and has Raynaud's and if she whacks her hand on something it also looks like that.
