Agreed. The way he responded in putting up his hands to his head/ears is very typical. They can so easily slip away in a heartbeat. I'm sure his parents were frantic. They are that fast, even at home. Personal experience and complete understanding here. So thankful for the happy ending.

Yeah, reminds me of my son. He would run away and do something like this. That’s why we have a harness when we go to wide open areas. Still terrifies me.

Yeah, my oldest is autistic and will just take off and not stop for anything. So it’s either a leash or he stays inside all the time.
