It's infuriating that this, not just happens, but happens numbingly often. It's wrong to be interviewing this child right now, he needs to process. The saddest part, people need to watch this, & let it sink in how disturbed our country is right now

Dad hasn't processed this yet either. As a nation we crave the sensationalized violence that is becoming US. It is neither normal nor healthy, it inhibits real progress. I don't like living where I can be shot by a lunatic, or picked up by he national police for rights violations. Damn the GOP

I read "The Shipping News" many years ago. It's a Novel about sensationalist journalism in a Newfoundland town. It was a dead ringer for CNN's reporting. I stopped watching CNN then. Then there was that Don Henley song. There is a huge difference between reporting tragedy and exploiting tragedy
