Had one of those fake “service dogs” on a flight. Woman sat down with her uncontrollable “service dogs,” and it wouldn’t quit bothering a true service dog who was minding his biz. I told her Amazon doesn’t certify dogs, and moved away.

Chill, well behaved dogs in a workplace? No problem. Especially if the owner has first checked around and made sure no one has a phobia. High strung asshole dogs that yip and bark and can’t control themselves? No, please, no.

I fully support legit service animals but if they are not legit, I'd rather your dog not be in a shopping cart that I might use next for my groceries. I love dogs but I know they have microparticles of fecal matter in their fur something.

Someone'd have to make a legal distinction to separate emotional support from "service," but good luck pulling that off without also tearing some nice chill pug away from someone with agoraphobia or whatever. Very hard to have and retain nice things these days.
