Given that the ESPN-NFL Media deal requires regulatory approval, I think people are too quick to assume that the hard part is over. We just saw what Paramount went through to complete its merger with Skydance. Just something to keep in mind when the NFL announces the agreement.

Step 1: Trump will spout off about DEI in the NFL and threaten networks that cover NFL. Step 2: Executives of said networks will come to the WH for negotiations. Step 3: Trump's gold ballroom will get the needed funding. Step 4: Deal is approved. Step 5: media says "sounds good, we're done here."
